The onboard boutiques offer a selection of women's and men's clothing, perfumes, jewelry, cosmetics, toiletries, sweets, and souvenirs.

Diets/Food Intolerances
Please be sure to check before booking whether your dietary needs and food intolerances can be accommodated on your chosen ship. It is also helpful if we can inform the ship of your requirements in advance. Onboard, there will be a meeting between affected guests and the responsible crew member, during which you can discuss your dietary needs, intolerances, and allergies.

Photo & Video
Many shore excursions and onboard events are accompanied by a professional photographer and videographer. Photos taken during your journey can be purchased onboard at the photo shop. You may order a video of your cruise either onboard or afterward from the company Cruise Vision. Wedding Arrangements
Spending the most special day of your life on a cruise ship is truly unique! Even if your wedding was some time ago, you can celebrate this special experience by renewing your vows onboard. The ceremony is performed by the captain or onboard clergy and is symbolic only. To allow for proper planning, weddings or vow renewals onboard the ocean liners MS Amadea, MS Amera, MS Artania, and MS Deutschland are available for cruises of at least 10 days. Internet Access
Internet is available via satellite connection. Connectivity may be limited depending on location and weather. Interruptions may occur (e.g., while cruising fjords). Satellite-based internet cannot be compared to landline connections and is not suitable for large file transfers or streaming services (e.g., YouTube, internet radio, Skype). Regular browsing and email (e.g., via Outlook) generally work well. However, limited satellite bandwidth means slower speeds during peak usage. Data packages of various sizes can be purchased onboard. Prices are listed in your cabin information folder or on the login page of the ship’s internet portal. Data can be used with your own device or computers in the onboard internet café. Wi-Fi is available in all cabins and most public areas (excluding restaurants). On MS Amadea, you can also connect via network cable in your cabin.

Cabin Gifts
You can send greetings onboard. It’s possible to order various gifts, such as excursion or bar vouchers with a personal note. These will be delivered to the cabin within the first few days of the trip. Please place your order at www.PhoenixReisen.com no later than 10 days before departure.

Packing Made Easy
Most guests prefer casual clothing during the day. Sporty-elegant attire is recommended for dinner. For special occasions like the Captain's Reception or Gala evenings on MS Amadea, MS Amera, MS Artania, and MS Deutschland, formal attire is welcome. Swimwear and sportswear are not permitted in indoor public areas. Each cabin provides a bathrobe and towel for deck use. For shore excursions, comfortable walking shoes and casual clothing are recommended. A laundry service and self-service laundromats (except on MS Deutschland) are available.

Shore Excursions
All excursions can be booked online under "Mein Phoenix" at www.PhoenixReisen.com no later than two months before departure. Prices and descriptions are available. Payment is made onboard.

Medical Care
All ocean ships have a modern hospital with a German-speaking doctor. Medical services are not included in the travel contract. Consultation fees and medication costs apply. Medications are dispensed only following a consultation. German insurance reimbursement guidelines do not apply, so private international travel insurance is strongly recommended. Pre-prescribed medications should be brought onboard in sufficient quantities. Onboard medical care cannot accommodate long-term or chronic condition treatment. In emergencies, passengers may be disembarked and brought to a local hospital. Portable oxygen concentrators are allowed, subject to airline luggage policies. Dialysis and dental treatment are not available onboard. Personal dialysis in the cabin is also not possible. Ship doctors may consult specialists at the Beta Klinik in Bonn.

Smoking Onboard
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas in line with national regulations. Cigarettes and e-cigarettes:

• MS Amadea: Havana Club and outdoor decks (not Lido Deck)

• MS Amera: Part of Harry’s Bar and Phoenix Lounge on the Promenade Deck

• MS Artania: Pacific Lounge and outdoor decks (not Lido Deck)

• MS Deutschland: Bar "Zum alten Fritz" and outdoor decks (not Lido Deck)
  Cigar and pipe smoking is generally not permitted indoors (exception: Havana Club on MS Amadea).

Travel Documents/Vaccinations
Check what travel documents are required and ensure they are valid with enough blank pages. Current info is available under "Mein Phoenix" at www.Phoenix-Reisen.com and in your travel documents. The visa for Russia is included in the excursion price. Visa and vaccination info for long-distance trips is available approx. 2 months before departure and applies to German citizens. Non-German citizens should check with their own authorities. Please ensure you are up to date on recommended vaccinations.

Travel Documents
You will receive your travel documents approx. 7–10 days before departure. These include your itinerary, booking details, luggage tags, boarding instructions, and a custom travel guide with the excursion program.

Restaurants

Wheelchair Users
MS Amadea, MS Amera, MS Artania, and MS Deutschland are conditionally accessible. Some cabins on each ship are equipped for wheelchair users with wide doors, no bathroom thresholds, and support bars. Due to structural limitations, not all areas are accessible, and certain itineraries may be unsuitable. Always travel with a companion, as no special onboard assistance is available.

Oxygen Equipment
Devices using ambient air are allowed. Liquid oxygen up to 10 liters is allowed with prior registration. This must be arranged at booking.

Pregnancy
Expectant mothers from the 24th week of pregnancy are advised against cruising for safety reasons.

Telecommunications/Email

Gratuities
Tips are not mandatory but appreciated. Approx. €4–5 per guest/day is a common guideline. A 7% service charge is added to bar bills, payable at the end of the cruise.

Wellness
Each ship offers wellness facilities with pools, spas, saunas, fitness centers, and massage services (for a fee). Spa reservations are available around 3 weeks before departure at www.PhoenixReisen.com under "Mein Phoenix."

Payment Methods Onboard
The onboard currency is EURO. VISA, MasterCard, and German Girocards are accepted. Low onboard prices are another advantage of cruising with us.
